“This statement by Surowieki is false. Those deciding to take the deferred resignation deal can do anything they want for the next 8 months and are not required to work at all whatsoever. https://t.co/Yh4RDVl6Yr https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1884601571347943773?s=46 [deleted tweet]”
“@sirmaejor @verified @TwitterSpaces We’re fixing a Legacy bug. Should be working tomorrow.”
“First picture of SpaceX spacesuit. More in days to follow. Worth noting that this actually works… https://t.co/5ZtqkKiTQX https://www.instagram.com/p/BYIPmEFAIIn/”
“@catturd2 @PatrickW @kylenabecker @Twitter I am cautiously optimistic that things will work out well”
“@unusual_whales The note is incorrect. There are ~2300 active, working employees at Twitter. There are still hundreds of employees working on trust & safety, along with several thousand contractors. Less than 10 people from my other companies are working at Twitter.”
“@hodgetwins @TheBabylonBee Key test for authenticity is how someone is in live back & forth discussion where canned speeches don’t work, eg Twitter Spaces. Has she done anything like that?”
“@sreemoytalukdar Fixing the recommendation algorithm is our current top priority. Twitter engineering has been working super hard on this. Proud of the team.”
“@vanschneider To be fair, there are many people at Twitter working late into the night, for whom I have great respect”
“@thesheetztweetz Starlink does work on vehicles in motion, including planes, but not yet reliably”
“@schrep Twitter is very slow in India, Indonesia & many other countries. This is fact, not “claim”. 10 to 15 secs to refresh homeline tweets is common. Sometimes, it doesn’t work at all, especially on Android phones. Only question is how much delay is due to bandwidth/latency/app.”
“@jordanbpeterson Given the prominence of this conversation, there was of course a 100% probability of DDOS attacks. We also had some unforced errors ourselves. But good work by the X team fending off the attacks and fixing our mistakes! All’s well that ends well.”
“Simulation of how the SpaceX Interplanetary Spaceship and Rocket design would work. Will be… https://t.co/yWYDxtAKQP https://www.instagram.com/p/BZdZdSZAtQf/”

“@jonodiener For now, reply to my tweet with ppm & ppb test results & will send someone to install a water filter. Creating email flint@x.com, but I’m in China so that won’t be working until tomorrow.”
“@immasiddtweets 🤣🤣 that would definitely work for falling asleep too”
“@sampullara Part of today will be turning off the “microservices” bloatware. Less than 20% are actually needed for Twitter to work!”
“@westcoastbill @Twitter Nice work by the recommendations algorithm team! As always, changes will be open source. So far, over 1M lines of code have been uploaded to our GitHub repository.”
“@krassenstein We are working on having this information will show up on your profile, so you know exactly what applies to your account. Not as easy as it sounds, because there are many different systems at Twitter that affect accounts, especially in “Trust and Safety” software layer.”
“RT @MarioNawfal: ELON FLEXES AS INTERNET MELTS: “𝕏 STILL WORKS” As AWS choked and apps across the web faceplanted, one platform kept breat…”
“@thesheetztweetz Work needed between flights is less & less, as shown by shortening time between reflights. Required work between flights for Starship & Super Heavy is zero.”
“@WholeMarsBlog True. We are working on a feature where the car identifies probable viable parking spaces. You tap on one, exit the vehicle and it parks there.”
“@ZubyMusic Was buried in Tesla work all day, so unfortunately missed out, but that is good to hear 😂 So long as this platform is not boring, it will succeed.”
“RT @spacesudoer: July 4th fireworks going off at the Starbase City. 🇺🇸🦅 https://t.co/VNGmsZd9V7”
“@liuyuxxd We are working on semantic (AI) search. Will show posts of X that match the meaning of your search, not just the text.”
“@spacesudoer Shana is awesome. Many years ago, I asked her to lead the early VTOL development of Falcon (aka Grasshopper) and she did great work. Now, Shana is a senior member of the Starship engineering team.”

“@JoshSeefried @BillyM2k We’re working on it. Twitter has a surprisingly complex codebase, so progress is slower than we’d like.”

“@schrep There are ~1200 “microservices” server side, of which ~40 are critical to Twitter working at all, according to server control team. Trimming down that 1200 number, reducing data usage, serialized trips & simplifying app are all needed to improve speed of use.”
“@Erdayastronaut @sivanithu @tobyliiiiiiiiii @cabral_psyd @imatsb @thesheetztweetz @SciGuySpace @Some1gee @RocketLab @Peter_J_Beck I have great respect for anyone who gets a rocket to orbit! It’s very hard. I’m spending crazy hours on Starship design/production. It is truly an honor to work with such great engineers. SN4 is almost done 😀”
“@ID_AA_Carmack For Dojo, we’re betting on FP16 with floating floating point (essentially, truncating mostly zeroes), so it feels like FP32 & existing software just works. We considered FP8 for a while, but everyone hated it. I even asked Twitter! For inference, int8 works great.”
“@levelsio @nikitabier Nikita deserves a lot of credit for fixing many things about 𝕏, but is not working on the algorithm. Blame for me problems with the algorithm – it still has a long way to go to be great. Transitioning from an inscrutable hairball of heuristics, which was the old Twitter”
“@TwitterSupport Nice work”

“RT @grok: You can now create workspaces on Grok through https://t.co/f3u3RwhHjk! https://t.co/9PpfzSitit http://grok.com”
“@WSBChairman @zerohedge Sure, but I suggest doing both. If X Corp subscriptions aren’t working out, you can always turn it off. May as well try it for a few weeks.”
“@justpaulinelol @nichegamer Report as soon as you see it. Troll/bot networks on Twitter are a *dire* problem for adversely affecting public discourse & ripping people off. Just dropping their prominence as a function of probable gaming of the system would be a big improvement.”
“RT @ibab: We’re rebuilding the X recommendation system using our xAI training framework. Join us to make the timeline better: https://t.co/… null”

“@cabral_psyd @sivanithu @Erdayastronaut @imatsb @thesheetztweetz @SciGuySpace @Some1gee Merlin is arguably version 6 or 7 by now. It’s a real workhorse, but looks so simple next to Raptor!”
“@gawwy @aperezposada @Reuters @sal19 Wow, so @sal19 of @Reuters wrote article that misled public about Model 3 production & followed that up with mean tweet to me on my bday. Nice work @sal19 & @Reuters.”
“@tammyharrington @Josh1C This will work on entire S & X fleet, even first production units. Cool thing about software upgrades is that we can keep making your car better long after you bought it.”
