“@tesla_addicted One of the improvements to FSD vision involves training with actual photon counts, so removing the filters used to make pictures pretty to the human eye”
“@KenJennings All other car companies are allowed to manufacture *except* Tesla, you knucklehead. No wonder you got crushed by a computer the size of a pizza box.”
“@Teslarati @KlenderJoey Still many fine details to address, but the final product will be fantastic. There’s nothing else even close.”
“@hiromichimizuno Ironically, yes at this time. FSD beta system at times can seem so good that vigilance isn’t necessary, but it is. Also, any beta user who isn’t super careful will get booted. 2000 beta users operating for almost a year with no accidents. Needs to stay that way.”
“For the remainder of September, Tesla is permanently waiving the $1500 solar removal fee requirement. Note, the ability to stop monthly payments at any time remains.”
“RT @MarioNawfal: 🚨🇺🇸 TESLA SERVICE CENTERS STRUGGLING TO KEEP UP WITH SURGING DEMAND Reports out of Schaumburg confirm what many Tesla own…”
“@lexfridman @Tesla @karpathy Thanks, hope you have a good holiday! Your insight on autonomy is excellent.”
“@CuriousPejjy All that matters is improving Tesla self-driving AI such that miles between interventions is >> human”
“@jimkxa Tesla’s self-driving AI will be vastly better than human”

“@chazman @Tesla The Tesla AI/software team is truly exceptional & I never give false praise”
“@LudaLisl @sat1 @Hertz Also, Tesla will soon be a German car manufacturer.”
“@ID_AA_Carmack Well, Optimus is already doing some tasks in the factory and the scope of its ability is increasing rapidly. The toughest part by far is improving the design of Optimus for ease of manufacturing and tooling up a complex supply chain, so it can be made in significant numbers.”
“@LizClaman @Tesla 420”
“@vincent13031925 @bonnienorman @Jason @scottwww Dunno where this bs is coming from. Who knows about the future, but last week we had over 2000 S/X and 5000 Model 3 *new* net orders.”

“@Erdayastronaut @TrevorMahlmann @Tesla V3 Supercharger deployment will accelerate considerably this year”
“@sobieski902 @TashaARK Supervised FSD is vastly safer than human driving. Unsupervised FSD is trending well. Over time, Version 12 (end-to-end neural nets) will far exceed human safety even when unsupervised.”
“@teslaownersSV @PPathole @NorthmanTrader Yes, back to regularly scheduled programming”
“@MatthewDR @Tesla Tesla shorts sure are gluttons for punishment! I mean, how many times do they want to do this!?”
“@stevenmarkryan It is unfortunately trending that way for many automakers. Some companies do understand, but their pace of change is nonetheless slow. Tesla is trying to be as helpful to other carmakers as possible with the transition to autonomous electric vehicles: we open source our patents,…”
“@AdrianDittmann 2 years to meet, 3 years to beat No acquisitions, Optimus is a startup”
“@SamTwits Founding story of Tesla as portrayed by Eberhard is patently false. I wish I had never met him. Eberhard is by far the worst person I’ve ever worked with in my entire career. Given how many people I’ve worked with over the years, that’s really saying something …”
“@vincent13031925 @JonErlichman I put in my last money, even though I thought we would still fail. But, it was either that or certain death for Tesla. Extremely difficult to raise money for an electric car startup (considered super quirky back then), while stalwarts like GM & Chrysler were going bankrupt.”
“@Teslarati Autopilot active crash prevention keeps getting better, as we examine every crash for improvement & then upload smarter software. Ironically, I hope we’re never on the list!”
“@vreeman Coming soon to Tesla merch. Free shots in stores every April 1st.”
“@SP_LimitReviews @Tesla @CodingMark @Manic_Marge @teslainventory @WholeMarsBlog Lot of good work happening on Tesla sound codec & audio software in general. Aiming for maximum music dopamine in your brain!”
“@teslaownersSV @jasontallman @YouTube I bounce around WSJ, NYT, BBC, Bloomberg, WaPo & twitter generally. Better to follow individual journalists than publications, as there is a wide range of quality.”

“@PeterDiamandis Optimus is a very sophisticated robot. It will be immensely difficult to get the cost to $20k. Not easy at all, but it will eventually happen. Production volume needs to be above 1M/year for that. Price will be driven by demand, but eventually even price will get to ~$20k.”
“@PPathole @ericrihlmann @Tesla @nbcsnl @TimesSquareNYC @nycgov It pretty much looks like this”
“@teslaownersSV Qualifying for the ~$20k car is extremely rare, but the $7500 credit applies to the vast majority of electric vehicle buyers (across all manufacturers)”
“@TeslaBoomerMama Good idea. He is a big fan of manufacturing in America and Teslas have the most American content of any cars!”
“@Gfilche @freshjiva No guarantees, but I think it will. This is a big part of what I meant by Tesla’s long-term competitive advantage being manufacturing technology.”
“@teslaownersSV @RyanGirdusky @GoodPoliticGuy South Korea and Hong Kong are experiencing the fastest population collapse. Note, 2.1 kids per woman is replacement rate.”
“@teslaownersSV I might be getting to the point where I’ve overseen the construction of a wider range of manufacturing systems than anyone. Managing a global supply chain is also very difficult and underrated. Tactics wins battles, but logistics (supply chain) wins wars.”
“@teslaownersSV I love many cheeses, so hard to say that a particular one is best, but maybe Stilton”
“SpaceX & Tesla comp is same or better than other companies. Big diff is that we don't outsource manufacturing, retail sales or service.”
“@DirtyTesLa @Jason Up to 7 days for human review”
“@teslaownersSV @DimaZeniuk @billhuang688 @woonomic @VaibhavSisinty Maybe JB would be up for that too. He deserves a lot of credit (as do many longtime Tesla people).”
“@ICannot_Enough When unsupervised FSD significantly exceeds human safety levels and is approved by regulators, the numbers will get really crazy!”
“@chazman @Tesla @TeslaAI 12.5”
“@thirdrowtesla Humans drive using 2 cameras on a slow gimbal & are often distracted. A Tesla with 8 cameras, radar, sonar & always being alert can definitely be superhuman.”

“@WholeMarsBlog FSD/AI team is doing great work. Will get superhuman good in upcoming releases. Note, we will slow down upload rate of releases going forward. First from QA fleet to employee cars for a day, then slowly releasing at ~1000 cars/hr to external beta on Friday aft.”
“RT @SecDuffy: America is at the forefront of innovation. @Tesla is one of the many companies helping our country reach new heights. @USDOT…”
“@WholeMarsBlog Real-world validation & billions of miles of real-world training are what will make FSD superhuman”
“@WholeMarsBlog The Tesla AI predictions are swiftly becoming superhuman – its guesses for what it can’t see well feel like ESP. It has a vastly larger training set than any human & thinks only about driving.”
