@WR4NYGov My estimate of the probability of success at the beginning of both Tesla and SpaceX was less than 10%. The reason people telling me we would probably fail didn’t dissuade me was that I already agreed with them!

@WholeMarsBlog The amount of testing time it takes to figure out if the new AI is better than the existing AI as measured by miles between interventions is the limiting factor on progress. The better FSD gets the longer it takes to find interventions.

@MarcusHouse @LordofEa @kerrikgray @chicago_glenn @Tesla @teslaownersSV @dvorahfr @TonyadeVitti @SpaceX @SirineAti That’s the plan, unless it is damaged in testing. What really matters is that ship & booster production line is spooling up. Also, each new ship & booster has incremental design improvements.

@JohnnaCrider1 @WholeMarsBlog If Tesla owners are “conspiracy theorists”, then it would be fair to call them “advertising salespeople masquerading as truthtellers”. @ashleevance If things go well, SpaceX will put about 50% more tonnage in orbit this year using Falcon, which would be above 90% market share. Once Starship is in full swing building a city on Mars, it will do ~99% of all payload to orbit & beyond, as that objective requires about a megaton…
