The chart below is due for an update, but is roughly accurate. Flight 6 liftoff thrust is ~7500 tons and mass is ~5000 tons. The tanker version of Starship V3 will weigh over 7000 tons. By comparison, the heaviest Boeing 747 is less than 500 tons fully loaded.

We have a lot of star things 😂 [@DimaZeniuk] ELON MUSK: “We kind of have a lot of Star things, you know, so we get Starlink, Starship. Starbase is probably the coolest place on Earth. It's only like three feet above sea level. So we built a gigantic rocket factory and two giant launch towers down by the river, literally… https://x.com/i/web/status/1998658224027771107

Will be interesting to see how this is used [@ID_AA_Carmack] Starlink announced a $5/month plan that gives unlimited usage at 500kbits/s. Modern apps and web pages would immediately back up every buffer and make for a painful experience, but it is fun to consider optimizing inside that tight box (in the 90s, 4x ISDN was high end!).

It is a hard path to 100GW/year of AI in space, but we know what to do [@Teslaconomics] This statement mind boggles Ron Baron. Elon is talking about putting 25% of U.S.’s electricity output of solar powered AI satellites into orbit. Best believe SpaceX’s Starlink and Tesla’s energy business is going to benefit materially from this. “We see a path to putting 100
