🚀 [@NASA_LSP] Welcome to the LSP Fleet, Starship! @SpaceX's Starship rocket has been added to our NASA Launch Services II contract as part of the annual on-ramp process, which allows providers to introduce launch services not currently on contract. https://www.nasa.gov/news-release/nasa-awards-launch-services-contract-for-spacex-starship/

@FedorovMykhailo @SpaceX @SpaceXStarlink @Honda @ChampionGen @westinghouse @DuroMaxPower Updating software to reduce peak power consumption, so Starlink can be powered from car cigarette lighter. Mobile roaming enabled, so phased array antenna can maintain signal while on moving vehicle.

@DavidSacks SpaceX’s out of pocket cost to enable & support Starlink in Ukraine is ~$80M so far. Our support for Russia is $0. Obviously, we are pro Ukraine. Trying to retake Crimea will cause massive death, probably fail & risk nuclear war. This would be terrible for Ukraine & Earth.

True [@HCGNYC] @WR4NYGov The word 'funding' in and of itself is disingenuous. SpaceX bids for service contracts. They typically have offered the most compelling cost and delivery and yet our feckless Gov still awards contracts to SpaceX competitors. Tesla is the most American made autos, will soon also…)

@WholeMarsBlog Future wars are all about the drones. Human crews of planes or tanks have no chance. One exception: a purely analog, human-controlled vehicle is far more resilient to EMF weapons.

@ChristopherJM @FT @MehulAtLarge @felschwartz Bad reporting by FT. This article falsely claims that Starlink terminals & service were paid for, when only a small percentage have been. This operation has cost SpaceX $80M & will exceed $100M by end of year. As for what’s happening on the battlefield, that’s classified.

@WholeMarsBlog Please advise people to be wary of margin loans. Tesla has always been a high variability stock, often with no obvious rhyme or reason. We are confident about long-term value creation, but cannot control the manic-depressive nature of the stock market.

@alex_avoigt No money from DoD, but several other countries, orgs & individuals are paying for ~11k/25k terminals (thanks!). SpaceX is losing ~$20M/month due to unpaid service & costs related to enhanced security measures for cyberwar defense, but we’ll keep doing it (sigh).

@WorldAndScience Earth should be called Water. Our surface is 71% water. Mars land area is roughly equal to Earth, as it’s all land. Even when warmed up & water ice turns liquid, Mars will be about 2/3 land.
