@tetsuoai Starlink V3 launches with Starship will carry 25 to 50 times more bandwidth than a Falcon flight with V2, depending on how you count it. Starship will also launch 100+ times more per year than Falcon (mostly AI sats). Probably ~20k comms satellites per year at ~2 tons/sat. High

Shrouds are also a risk in that fuel leaks could be contained by the shroud, forming a MOX bomb. Booster is purging all 33 engine shrouds in flight to prevent this.

@WholeMarsBlog The amount of testing time it takes to figure out if the new AI is better than the existing AI as measured by miles between interventions is the limiting factor on progress. The better FSD gets the longer it takes to find interventions.

@TJ_Cooney @SpaceX Starlink bandwidth varies a lot, depending on user terminal density & time of day. That’s why the long wait in some areas. Throughput is roughly linear with total V1 satellites in operation. V2 satellites are at least 5 times better (conservative estimate) than V1.
