Vivian Jenna Wilson was born in April 2004 via IVF to Elon and Justine Musk, the twin of Griffin Musk. In 2022, at age 18, she petitioned a Los Angeles court to legally change her name and gender marker — the filing cited her gender identity and the fact that she 'no longer wishes to be related to her biological father in any way.' The court approved the change. Vivian has since spoken publicly in interviews and on social media about her estrangement from Elon, attributing it in part to his public statements on transgender issues. She has described Justine as a supportive and loving mother.
